Aloha! I came home yesterday, at 8:30. The flight was 12 hours. I hated the flight. Other than that Hawaii was great.I stayed for 10 days.I spent Three of those days sight seeing on the island of O'ahu, staying in the beatiful city of Honolulu. I stayed at the Marriot Hotel. It was very nice. The first day on O'ahu my family and I went to see and clime Diamondhead Crater. Its a hike.When I got to the top, the view was worth the hike. It was amazing. You could see the whole city of Honolulu. We also went to a Luau. It was fun. We had drinks, watched the Hula dancers, and kayaked.The second day on O'ahu, my family, that consisted of my mom, my dad, my brother, and I. My cousins, that consisted of Kenny, Chris, Alyssa, and my Aunt Diane. And last but not lease my grand parents, Poppy and Nanny. We went to see the majestic and famous Pearl Harbor. It was sad and amazing at the same time. We went to the USS ARIZONA, also known as the BB-39.There is still oil leaking out from her hull. It is very sad. After the USS ARIZONA monument we went to the USS MISSOURI. It was huge. Bigger than any other battle ship I've been on. It is also called the Mity Moe. It had so many things happen apon her decks. The two most famous was A Japanese plane Komakazed onto the ship. No one die, well exept for the pilot. The other was The signing of the surrender papers of the Japanese. The thrid day we bourded the Cruise Ship. The ship's name was the PRIDE OF AMERICA. It is a very nice ship, not as big as the USS MISSOURI. We left port later that night. In the morning we were at the island of Maui. The first day at Maui we rented a car and drove to the ocean on the other side of the island. Then we went to a beach by the Sharaton Hotel. The sand was incredably hot. The second day of Maui we had to get up at 2:00 in the morning. We were going to go up a volcano to watch the sun rise. When we got to the top it was 38 degrees ferenfite. The tour bus had to drive 37- miles up from sea level to the summit of Haleakala Volcano (10,023 ft / 3,055 m) one of the greatest elevation gains in the shortest distance in the world. After that, well I slept till dinner, at 6:45. Later that night we shipped off.The next day we came to the rainy side of the big island also known as Hawai'i. We were taking a Helicopter tour. A shuttle took us to the BLUE HAWAIIAN HELICOPTER section of the airport. We watched a safety video and took off. Our pilot was James. We flew over the town of Hilo, water falls, rivers, houses, and the Volcano. We also saw LAVA JACK'S BED AND BREAKFAST. It is surronded by lava. You could rent out the up stairs for a night and leave the next day. The only two ways to get there is on the back of Jack's motocycle or helicopter. You will leave the next morning if the volcano did not erupt. We also saw the lava hitting the water it was amazing. If you ever go to Hawai'i you have to do this tour. The next day we went to the dry side of Hawai'i wedid the Kona Beach Blast. We spent all day at the beach. I took a glass bottom boat ride, Kayaked, and did water bikes. It was fun. W e set sail for our last Island Kaua'i. The first day we visited the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. It was awsome.They filmed many movies in there. Two are King Kong and all three Jarasic Parks. The last day on Kaua'i we took a Kayaking tour.We saw where they filmed the first Indiana Jones movie, The opening of M*A*S*H, and King Kong. After Kayaking up river, we went hikeing thought the tropical jungle. I met a french family made up of a dad, mom and twin sisters my age. We had conversations in french. It was cool. After the hike they louded us into three or four vans and took us to an opening were we had lunch. On our way we saw the richest man on the island of Kaua'i. He was sleeping on a stearing wheel of a golf cart. He was eighty years old. after lund we went to two water falls anf swam in the pools under neath them. Then we got back to the ship and watch as we sailed along side the island and headed back to O'ahu. The next day we left the ship for the last time and flew home.
